Bible Reading Plan

Started a Bible reading plan on Whatsapp, would as well start sharing here.

Currently in the book of Genesis, Chapter 11 to be precise, and it’s been wonderful!

Ever wondered why the Earth was without form and darkness in verse 2 of Genesis 1?

This was one of the topics we discussed on, the reason for the group is so there can be more communication, questions, observations, etc. Here’s the link to the group

People who are truly devoted are rare, and I wanna be part of such people, what about you?

May the Lord reveal unto us the hidden mysteries of His Word in Jesus’ name.

  1. Never stop looking for the mysteries in Scripture Michael. If you have given your life to God He will not let you be lead astray: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and it is the honor of kings to seek out a matter” Proverbs.
I think the formless part refers to it having been planned out, but not created yet: for instance a house that an architect has in his mind as an idea is formless until it is actually made. I think the void part is a reference to the spiritual mechanics of the world not being in go mode yet. These are off the bat ideas and tbh I am not sure! What do you think?

  2. Be careful looking for mysteries in the Scripture. God has revealed everything we need for life and godliness in Jesus, and while there are things in the Bible we may not yet understand, we must be careful not to think we have “secret knowledge” that others lack.
“Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but HAS NOW BEEN DISCLOSED and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith — to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.” Romans 16:25-27
